Just 45 minutes from the city of Prince Albert, and only 10 minutes from the Resort Villiage of Candle Lake.

Note: PLEASE PRINT CLEARLY on the membership forms. We need to enter the information into a computer, and if we can't read your handwriting, we can't process your application. Also, there is NFA insurance as part of your membership, and it is important that we are able to report the information accurately to them, in order for the insurance coverage to be accurate. Please PRINT clearly.

FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THESE RANGE RULES

CANDLE LAKE LAKE SPORTSMAN'S LEAGUE

  • The front gate shall be locked ENTERING or LEAVING the range. If in doubt, lock the gate, all members have a key.
  • NO alcohol or drugs allowed on the premises
  • All firearms not in use must be left unloaded with the action open when on the firing line.
  • NO dry firing behind the firing tine, except in designated safe area.
  • NO firearm is to be loaded until it is on the firing line.
  • NO firing of big bore rifles or shotguns on handgun or small bore rifle ranges.
  • Only approved targets may be used.
  • All shooters are responsible for cleaning up used targets.
  • Ear and Eye protection is required by all shooters and spectators at all times when shooting is in progress.
  • The range officer has absolute authority at all times, anyone disobeying him/her will be asked to leave.
  • If more than one person is engaged in shooting activities on the shooting range, one person must act as he range officer.
  • Discharge of firearms is permitted between 7:00am - 10:00pm DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY!
  • No glass or plastic bottles, cans, other non-target frangible items are to be used as targets.
  • Members are responsible for the safe conduct of their Guests at all times while on the Clubs property.
  • Members must ensure that guests are familiarized with the safety rules relative to the planned activities.
  • Shooters must maintain muzzle control in a safe direction at all times. Pointing of a Muzzle (Barrel) at another person even if by accident is considered a serious infraction of our safety regulations.
  • Do not distract other shooters with your conduct or actions.
  • Handguns of all types shall be pointed down into the firearm Case when removing the "Trigger Lock" and or opening the action. If on the "Firing Line the Muzzle shall be pointed downrange.
  • Rifles shall be pointed "UP" when removing the "Trigger Lode and or opening the action. If on the "Firing Line", the Muzzle shall be pointed downrange.
  • Do not throw live rounds or misfired shells into the garbage containers or on the club grounds. This increases the risk of injuries to unsuspecting people.
  • Abuse of Club property and equipment will result in the loss of membership, with the membership dues being applied to remedy the damage.
  • The Violation of any rule may result in removal of the shooter from the range by the Range Officer, and could result in disciplinary action by the Board of Directors.
